Review Our New Bylaws

Since 1988, the Lodi Historical Society has been sustained by people like you who believe that our shared past matters and that preserving it strengthens our community’s future. Your membership is a vital part of that legacy, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.
As we look ahead, the Lodi Historical Society is entering an important period of growth. We are expanding our programs, building our collections, and investing in the long-term preservation of Lodi’s stories, artifacts, and historic places—most notably our original City Hall & Firehouse, which is well on its way to becoming a true museum space.
As part of this next phase, the Board of Directors is also reviewing and updating the Lodi Historical Society’s bylaws. These updates are intended to better reflect how the organization operates today, support long-term sustainability, and align with best practices for nonprofit governance. Click Here to review the proposed bylaws.
A membership vote to approve the new bylaws will take place during our regular meeting on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 6:30pm in the Pisano Room at Hutchins Street Square. A physical copy of the bylaws will be available for in-person review at the meeting.
Thank you for being part of the Lodi Historical Society. Your support ensures that Lodi’s stories are not only preserved, but shared, celebrated, and passed on to future generations.
